  • The program can be a part of another software package and it can be distributed with it. Any prior permission is not required.

Displaying medical images from a CD/DVD disk

If you are a patient, physician, medical student, or technician and you have received a medical CD/DVD disk with images that you wish to view, you can use Sante DICOM Viewer Lite (it's free). Download, install, and run the program, insert the CD/DVD disk into the CD/DVD drive, and select the menu command "FileOpen DICOM CD/DVD".

  • Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7 (64-bit) or Windows Server 2025/2022/2019/2016/2012/2008 (64-bit)
  • Intel Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 or greater
  • 8 GB memory or more (16 GB for large US files)

Installation on Windows Server 2012

The user must install the "Media Foundation" from "Add Roles and Features" wizard of the Server Manager.
