How to burn DICOM CD/DVD disksThe program allows the user to create and burn DICOM CD/DVD disks from files/series/studies that have been already opened, from patient data stored in the local database, from DICOMDIR files and from disk folders. The program adds to the CD/DVD disk a free DICOM viewer that allows the patient and/or physician to view the patient's images.

Supported DevicesThe program supports the CD/DVD disk drives of the PC (internal and/or USB), and the robotic disk publisher devices of EPSON and PRIMERA.Configuration of the Epson and Primera producers (Disk Publishers)If you don't have an Epson or a Primera Disk Publisher, you can skip this section.Select the menu command "CD/DVD BurningCD/DVD Producer Setup" to configure the CD/DVD robotic disk publisher device. The above dialog box lets the user select the working folder and to configure the EPSON/PRIMERA producers. In the working folder the program copies the files to be burned to the CD/DVD. The program deletes the files after the CD/DVD production. EPSON ConfigurationMachine name It is the name used to communicate with EPSON machine. It must be the one configured in Epson TDBridge software. Monitoring Folder Specifies the folder where the program will copy the job file to be processed by the Epson TDBridge software. Label File Specifies the pathname of the label project (TDD) file. The label project file contains the label fields (patient name, study date, institution name etc.) that will be printed on the surface of the CD. This information is taken by the DICOM files. Dynamic Field / Field Association Allows setting the associations between a label field (that will be printed on the CD/DVD) and a dynamic field that will be taken by DICOM files. The "Associate..." button creates an association between a "CD Label Field" and a "Dynamic Field" of the dropdown combobox that contains basic DICOM fields.
